National Executive Director

Bev Warnock

Bev Warnock was recently promoted as Executive Director of the National Organization of POMC.  She started working part time at POMC in 1993 as the administrative assistant responsible for the database and the anniversary card program. She stayed with POMC until 1997 and  then took a few years' off to stay home with her young children. During this time, she still helped with the Effective Leadership Training and was involved with POMC. In 2002, she returned as a full time employee for the position of Program Coordinator and was responsible for all of POMC’s programs. Over the years she took over the Charity State Filings and the accounting system.  Bev answers many of the phone calls to the office speaking to many “new” survivors. She has been there so long that she knows the National Office inside and out.  She works hard to keep the National Office running smoothly and is dedicated to POMC.

In April of 2017, Bev will attend the Grief Retreat Weekend in Pine, AZ to be trained to expand the Grief Retreat Weekends to Cincinnati and closer for anyone in the eastern side of the United States to attend.

Bev has previously assisted in the BASICS Training for victim advocates in the state of Ohio and workshops for Ohio’s TDIM. In the past she has also served on the committee for the Crime Victims Week in April and the Ohio Council on Victims Justice. She has attended numerous trainings over the years.

Bev was Co-Chair of the National Conference in 2009 and starting in 2014 has been the Co-Chair for the National Conferences choosing the different locations to hold the National Conferences.  Also, since 2013 has assisted as a trainer in the three day training for the Effective Leadership Training for our Chapters to get their certification.

Bev is married with three children, Stephenie, Scott and Torrey who are regular volunteers for POMC especially at the National Conference.  She is also a proud grandmother to her one year old grandson, Grayson.
