Murdered September, 1982
Naomi Kidder was a beautiful eighteen year old girl that took a trip to Rawlins Wyoming with several friends in June, 1982, and decided not to return with them to Buffalo, Wyoming. Her body was found in Natrona County in September of 1982 but was not identified until March of 1994. The last time anyone saw Naomi alive was on June 29, 1982. She took a backpack and some money belonging to a friend and left Rawlins hitchhiking. She was reported missing on July 1, 1982.
Her body was found decomposed and partially mummified and a wire ligature was found around her neck. Dental records were not entered into NCIC until March of 1994 and a match was made. Namoi was strangled with a bar wire around her neck. The wire was found in a knot.
